Little Havana Pedestrian Priority
Pedestrian priority zone improvements in Little Havana under a City of Miami JOC contract with H&J Asphalt, with Pimentel Construction Group providing project management and concrete and roadway scope.
The Little Havana Pedestrian Priority project is a City of Miami job order contract led by H&J Asphalt, improving pedestrian zones across several blocks of Little Havana: sidewalk and ADA improvements, drainage adjustments, pavement and striping. Pimentel is involved with H&J on project management and self-performed scope, with our portion of the work valued at approximately $750,000.
JOC work under Gordian pricing requires reconciling plans against the proposal line by line. We performed the plan-versus-proposal quality control audit across the project zones, including FDOT pay items, striping and signing, and drainage structure reconciliation.
