Paving, drainage and concrete contractor in Homestead

Homestead and the Redland are where Miami-Dade still has room to build: new subdivisions, agricultural and equipment yards, and long private drives. We work for the City of Homestead and for owners across South Dade.

We have performed milling and resurfacing on a City of Homestead neighborhood resurfacing project as a subcontractor to National Traffic Solutions. In South Dade we also build limerock drives and yards, equipment pads, drainage for larger lots and new residential driveways.

South Dade is rock country: shallow oolitic limestone under a thin layer of soil. Excavation is harder and drainage percolates quickly once you reach rock, which changes how both base and drains are built.

Permits and local conditions in Homestead

Right-of-way work inside Homestead city limits is permitted through the City of Homestead; the Redland and other unincorporated areas go through Miami-Dade County. Agricultural properties may have additional considerations for paving and fill.

Where rock is close to the surface we excavate with the right equipment and use it to our advantage for drainage. Long rural drives are often best built as compacted limerock first, with asphalt added later.
