West Little River Sewer & Resurfacing
Sanitary sewer mains, manholes, service laterals, roadway base and milling and resurfacing in West Little River, performed by Pimentel Construction Group as a subcontractor to MCM for Miami-Dade Water and Sewer.
West Little River is a Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department pump station and sanitary sewer project with MCM as the prime contractor. Pimentel is performing the gravity sanitary sewer mains, manholes and service laterals through the residential streets around NW 1st Place and NW Miami Court, and the roadway restoration that follows: base work, cold milling and Type S asphalt resurfacing across the project streets, along with asphalt driveway restoration.
The photos follow one block from start to finish: trench box set, excavation, dewatering, rock bedding, PVC main and lateral wyes set to grade and checked with a grade rod, precast manholes grouted and connected, confined-space ventilation for the manhole work, backfill compacted in lifts with a density test on each, limerock base restored, and steel plates and barricades keeping the street open overnight. The resurfacing scope alone is approximately $975,000 and runs under Davis-Bacon with certified payroll.
It is the sequence we are built for: open the street for the utility, restore the base, and put the pavement back permanently with the same company.
