A manhole in the landscaped island of a Coral Gables cul-de-sac needed its top rebuilt.
Our crew cleared the island around the structure, exposed the top of the manhole and built a new mortar collar by hand so the frame and cover sit firm and at grade, working around the island plantings and an active residential street.
Small structure repairs like this are routine for us on municipal work: drainage and sewer structures are where pavement and landscaping fail first, and fixing the structure properly is what keeps the repair from coming back.
