Manhole Repair, Coral Gables
Manhole in a landscaped cul-de-sac island repaired for the City of Coral Gables.
View projectCoral Gables holds its streets, swales and landscaping to a higher standard than almost anywhere in Miami-Dade, and the work has to look as good as it performs. We work for the City of Coral Gables and for homeowners across the Gables.
For the City we rebuilt the top of a manhole in a landscaped cul-de-sac island. For residents we build concrete and paver driveways, replace sidewalks, and install yard and driveway drainage.
Many Gables streets have no curb and gutter, with swales and mature tree canopy along the edge of the road. Any driveway, sidewalk or drainage work has to protect the trees and keep the swale working.

Right-of-way work in Coral Gables, including driveway aprons, sidewalks and drainage connections, is permitted through the City of Coral Gables, which also reviews materials and appearance closely. We confirm what the City requires before we price the job.
Much of Coral Gables drains through swales and on-site exfiltration rather than storm sewers at the street. When a yard or driveway floods, the fix is usually restoring the grade or adding an exfiltration drain designed for the lot.
