A backyard pool deck and covered patio in Cutler Bay rebuilt in new broom-finished concrete for a private homeowner, with Pimentel as the prime contractor.

This Cutler Bay homeowner wanted a usable backyard: the old patio surface and pavers around the pool were worn out, and the yard along the house and pool was bare dirt.
Our crew cleared the old pavers and surface, graded and compacted the ground along the house and the pool, formed the new slab and poured a continuous concrete deck from the covered patio around the pool coping to the fence line, with a broom finish for traction around the water.
Around the pool, the new concrete stops cleanly at the existing coping band, and along the house it works around the gas meter, water heater and hose bibs without blocking access. The result is one continuous, easy-to-clean surface from the back door to the pool.
