Roadway work as part of a coordinated FDOT team

Pimentel Construction Group contributed to the NE 103rd Street FDOT project as a subcontractor working under National Traffic Solutions. This project is part of our portfolio of transportation and infrastructure assignments supporting public owners and prime contractors across Miami-Dade County.

Our crews milled the existing asphalt, swept the milled surface, applied tack coat, and placed and rolled a new asphalt surface course one lane at a time, keeping the opposite lane open under the prime contractor’s maintenance of traffic. Where driveway aprons were disturbed at the new pavement edge, we restored them in concrete.
