Sweetwater Neighborhood Roadway Improvements

Neighborhood roadway reconstruction in the City of Sweetwater: new asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalk and curb, ADA curb ramps, asphalt driveway aprons and new pavement markings, performed by Pimentel Construction Group as a subcontractor to H&J Asphalt.

Pimentel Construction Group performed concrete and asphalt work for H&J Asphalt on this City of Sweetwater neighborhood improvement project along SW 5th Terrace between SW 112th and SW 114th Avenues in western Miami-Dade County.

The finished blocks have a new asphalt driving surface, continuous concrete sidewalk, new curb, ADA-compliant curb ramps with detectable warning surfaces at the intersection, and an asphalt apron at every driveway. Swales were sodded and new street trees were planted along the corridor.

The roadway was completed with a double yellow centerline, stop bars and crosswalks. Our in-house crews self-perform concrete flatwork and asphalt paving, which keeps sequencing tight on residential streets where every driveway has to stay open.
